Max's weight check up went really well. He's back up to 5 lbs. 10 oz. (as of yesterday), showing more than an ounce of weight gain a day since last Friday. Go, boy! The combination of breastfeeding and expressed breastmilk via bottle seems to be working for him. And he's starting to get the hang of the breastfeeding part a little better. I'm glad we haven't had to give him any formula.

And he likes to suck on his little fingers and thumb.
But one of his very favorite things is to listen to his daddy talk and watch his daddy's face. I think we have a daddy's boy here.
